The Iraqi president has filed a lawsuit against the prime minister and finance minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG).

The complaint was filed on 20-01-2 Director General of Relations and International Organizations at the Iraqi Presidency, Hawre Tofiq, said Sunday that 19 days have passed since the complaint was filed, but they were waiting for the court's decision.

"We have asked the Federal Court to issue a governor's order to pay the salaries of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) employees continuously and without delay. Artistic issues should not be the reason for the delay," he said.

"They asked the Federal Court to oblige the House of Representatives to approve Article 12, Clause C of the Federal Budget Law, which deals with the cost of oil production in the Kurdistan Region, but this was done in recent days," he said.
