Baghdad International Airport announced, on Tuesday, that the navigational movement had stopped due to weather conditions, and the visibility range reached 150 m.

The airport administration stated in a statement that since the early morning hours of this day, the airport is closed and opened from time to time to flights due to fog and varying visibility.

Air traffic at Baghdad Airport usually stops during critical weather conditions and lack of visibility, the last of which was on Monday.

Since the early hours of dawn, the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and the regions of southern Iraq are witnessing a wave of thick fog, causing a lack of visibility.
