A new 4.7 hit earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey

Today, Tuesday, the Turkish authorities reported that a new earthquake measuring 4.7 hit the southeastern state of Kahramanmaras.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said, "The earthquake was recorded in the morning. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers," while there was no immediate information on injuries or damage.

Syrian regions witnessed, according to the Syrian SANA agency, a number of earthquakes within 24 hours, most notably an earthquake that struck northwest of Latakia with a magnitude of 3.2, another east of the city of Hasakah with a magnitude of 3 degrees, and another northwest of Palmyra with a magnitude of 2.8, and the Alexandretta region witnessed 20 earthquakes of a magnitude 1.5-4 on the Richter scale,
