President Nechirvan Barzani met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani in Baghdad on Saturday evening.

In the meeting, President Barzani reiterated the Kurdistan Region's support for the Prime Minister and the Iraqi Federal Government and the implementation of its agenda. He also praised Mr. Al Sudani's steps and efforts to implement the government's agenda and the political agreement of the ruling coalition.

For his part, Mr. Al-Sudani thanked the role of President Nechirvan Barzani and his continued efforts to bring the parties closer together and resolve the issues and stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government to resolve the issues.

Both sides agreed on the need to implement the agreement to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region and the support of the political parties in the House of Representatives to pass the Iraqi budget law. They also reiterated the need for continued cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad in all fields.
