The Zet International Border crossing between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey will be officially opened this week. This comes after a year of continuous work on the construction of the main road between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.

Halgurd Sheikh Najib, the supervisor of the Soran Independent Administration, told the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Media and Information Office: “In an official ceremony in the presence of officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government and Turkey the Zet International Border crossing will be officially opened to tourists this week.

The Zet International Border crossing is located in Sherwanmazen district of Mergasuri district of Soran Autonomous Administration and will be a new international Border crossing between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.
