Iran executed a Kurdish young man for his association with the protests

Today, Saturday, Iran executed two men for charged with killing a security officer during the protests sparked by the death of the Kurdish young woman, Mahsa Amini, according to the "Mizan Online" website of the Iranian judiciary.

The website stated that "Muhammad Mahdi Karami, a Kurdish young man from Suna and Seyyed Muhammad Hosseini were executed this morning" (Saturday).

Since September 16, Iran has been witnessing protests following the death of the young woman, Mahsa Amini, three days after she was arrested by the morality police for not adhering to the strict rules of dress in the Islamic Republic.

The website reported that the Court of First Instance sentenced the two men to death on December 4.
