Today, as part of our participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai, Masrour Barzani, president of kurdistan region government received the new Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, His Excellency Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi.

At the beginning of the meeting, we congratulated the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council on his assumption of his new job, wishing him success in his duties, and stressed the importance of strengthening the Kurdistan Region's relations with the Gulf states.

The new Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council invited the Kurdistan Regional Government to visit the General Secretariat of the Council, as well as reaffirming the desire of the Gulf states to proceed with consolidating their relations with the Kurdistan Region.
