On Wednesday, the Directorate of Health in the "Koysanjak" district of Erbil Governorate, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, recorded a new case of hemorrhagic fever.

This is the second case recorded with this disease in the aforementioned district.

The patient is 19 years old and is currently undergoing intensive care.

At the end of last June, the Koysanjak Directorate announced the registration of the first death from hemorrhagic fever.
